Hope is byline
politicians use to get
votes, and closure
is only in Spielburg
films.
Hope is not something
you can buy or sell
even though they always
try.
There is no closure
in real life.
That is not the
hot take of a
typical
jaded cynic.
It is the call
of a freedom fighter,
it is the epiphany
that leads to
the road
to liberation.
I am no cynic,
nor am I
some self involved
“realist”.
I am simply one voice,
one meandering
spirit
on the road
to liberation.
