Folks, I want to make something clear, I like soldiers, but I don’t like the military.
I like priests and preachers, but I don’t like dogma.
I like capitalists, but I don’t like capitalism.
My loyality is not to institutions, all instituitions crumble with time, it is people who endure. It is people who will go on to tell your tale. It is the people who want to protect each other, it is the people who want to enlighten each other. No political party, no church, no corporation ever trully connections. It is people. When the people have the power, we have the faith, and when we have the faith we draw farther away from fear.
It is the villians of history, the racists, the sexists, the homophobes and the transphobes, or just the otherwise bitter and hateful, who crumble, for them their is the surrender to fear, which enables the enslaving instituitions which then continue to drive us apart.
But the people, the people are always what can be united.
